WHO AM I?
I am a French artist, photographer, author and entrepreneur.
My artistic name, Joss UÑAC (with the ñ), is a tribute to my grandfather who lost his ‘ñ’ when he settled in France at a time when there was no possibility to have a tilde on a typewriter. This way it is always with me...
In 1989, shortly after receiving my first camera as a gift from my cousin Jean-pierre, I took up photography and learnt the profession of ‘filmeur’ (photographer of social reports) in the most famous seaside and ski resorts in France (Megève, l'Alpe d'huez, Val d'isère, Chamonix, Cannes, La grande Motte, etc.).
Taking advantage of my many years of experience and my university training in business management, in 1998 I created the professional photography studio CALPE FOTOS (Calpe, Spain), which became a reference on the Costa Blanca for the quality of its work in analogue and then digital black and white, and which I managed until 2012.
I then created Studio 55 in Fuengirola (Marbella) and returned to France, where I wrote and published the novel ‘L'homme qui voulait être millionnaire’ and the essay ‘Vivre le Secret’, while developing my artistic work that you can discover below...

In 2022, I returned to Calpe (Alicante) with an innovative online studio concept: the current Joss UÑAC studio.
With the Joss UñAC studio I offer original photo shoots in high-end locations such as hotels, restaurants and lounge bars, as well as outdoor photo shoots (at home, by the sea, outdoors, etc.) or in the studio, by appointment.
I enjoy every day the contact with my clients and the possibility to make a living from my passion.
